Broadsheet Media is proud to announce the latest release of Broadsheet Editions.
Ever since its inception in 2009, Broadsheet has celebrated the best of Australia’s cities, highlighting what’s most exciting about our food, culture, style and design landscapes. An integral part of this coverage is exceptional photography.
To help showcase some of Australia’s finest photographers, Broadsheet last year launched Broadsheet Editions, an online store that curates images from past and present Broadsheet photographers. Upon launch, Broadsheet Editions included 100 images from 11 artists.
Today, Broadsheet is unveiling a new release of Broadsheet Editions. Three local photographers will make their debut on the store – Sydney’s Amy Piddington, Brisbane’s Dean Swindell and Adelaide’s Josie Withers – alongside new contributions from existing Editions photographers Michael Woods, Kate Shanasy and Mark Roper. We may not be able to travel far at the moment, but it helps to have some daydream material: think Kate Shanasy’s serene images of a chilly Wilsons Prom or Josie Withers’ collection inspired by a Californian summer.
“I’ve really admired the work on Broadsheet Editions so I immediately jumped at the opportunity to be involved,” says Swindell. “Broadsheet champions the people it collaborates with and recognises the benefits of great photography, so it’s wonderful to be part of a project that pulls together the work of so many exceptional photographers.”
As always, prints are available in five sizes and made to order with gallery-grade materials for a high-quality finished product that can be delivered Australia-wide.
Photographs are printed on 300gsm 100 per cent cotton-rag stock, which is dry-mounted to an acid-free foam board before being framed with local sustainable Australian hardwood in a black, white or raw timber finish. The print is protected by museum-grade plexiglass, which shields against UV damage for up to 100 years, before being sealed with framer’s wax tape and wired for easy mounting in your home or workplace.
Other photographers featured in Broadsheet Editions include Linsey Rendell, Gareth Sobey, Jessica Wyld, Peter Tarasiuk, Rebecca Mansell, Jake Roden, Nikki To and Pete Dillon.
These beautiful photographs are perfect for presents, wedding gifts, home decorating and office interiors (as well as helping scratch the travel itch during lockdown).
Broadsheet Editions – and its Instagram account @Broadsheet.Editions – will continue to be updated frequently with more photographers and new imagery.
