Brisbane-based Active Truth currently has up to 50 per cent off its entire range of inclusive activewear.
The label, which was founded in 2016, specialises in supportive, relaxed workout gear that’s designed for all sizes, body shapes and stages of life, with fits from XS to 3XL.
Its range is comprised of squat-proof high-waisted leggings in three lengths, bike shorts, T-shirts and crop tops. There are options for pregnant women and those who’ve just given birth (one of the crop tops even has magnetic clasps for breastfeeding) with plenty of eye-catching colours and patterns.
“When we launched online all we were seeing were women with thigh gaps and six packs, and it was all very ‘inspirational’. I didn’t find that very inspirational or aspirational – it actually didn’t resonate with me at all and it made me feel bad about myself,” co-founder Nadia Tucker told Broadsheet in June.
“So we decided we were going to make activewear for women from size six to 26 on our full range – not just our bestsellers or a handful of products.”
During its Click Frenzy sale, which ends this week, you can pick up tights for under $40, basic branded tees for under $30, and sweatshirts for under $70. You can also nab a two-pack of resistance bands for $15.99, or a stylish neoprene clutch or laptop case for $44.25 and $59.25, respectively.
Active Truth prides itself on its realistic portrayal of women (none of its models are photoshopped and it often uses non-models in its ads). It also offers free shipping Australia-wide and exchanges or returns for up to 60 days.
