Lush New Lodges – With Private Outdoor Mineral Baths – Are Opening Soon at Peninsula Hot Springs

Peninsula Hot Springs – which has been soothing scattered city dwellers on the Mornington Peninsula since 2005 – will open its lush new eco lodges in November. Announced in October 2022 , the three lodges add another dimension to the accommodation options at the springs, which launched glamping in 2020.

Each lodge boasts its own outdoor mineral bath or pool, as well as private ensuite with fillable geothermal baths, so guests can soak at their leisure in privacy. Sleep sits at the core of the eco-lodge experience; the rooms have been designed to promote deep rest, incorporating self-guided sound and movement meditations, and stocked with sleep masks and mineral salts. Seasonal food menus have also been created to aid the z’s. Dimmable lights and blackout blinds, as well as climate controls, allow guests to create an optimal sleep environment.

Stays include a free wellness session and buffet breakfast, as well as access to Peninsula Hot Springs’ wider facilities, including the Bath House, Spa Dreaming Centre and hot mineral pools. The property encourages Nordic-style bathing, with saunas, an ice cave and massage showers to soothe and ease muscle pains.

While the lodges – which are interconnected and each sleep two guests – can be booked separately, the whole building can also be reserved for larger group getaways.

The eco lodges at Peninsula Hot Springs will open in early November.
