Features
Having previously operated on a freelance basis from home, owner and Thornbury local Emily Bradbury and her partner finally have a store for their reputable floristry business, North St Flowers.
Specialising in non-traditional arrangements that celebrate the textural and structural qualities of native foliage, pods, berries and flowers, North St Flowers pride themselves on the unusual and their ability to construct unique pieces using often under-appreciated subjects of nature.
Sister company Lulu & Angel stocks their terrariums and crystals throughout the store alongside artisan jewellery, glassware, miniature bonsais, cacti and succulents.
The rich wooden features of the store, designed and built by Bradbury’s husband, lead customers through to a delightful sun-filled nursery out the back.
Having received the gold medal award in floral design at Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, confidence in the obscure and respect for the elegant are values that make this humble business stand out from the crowd.
Pre-made posies are available in store ranging from $20 to $40 dollars, and personal and corporate events including weddings and exhibitions can also be catered for.
