Mr Burger

Having built a reputation for delivering hearty burgers to the masses via their food trucks, Mr Burger now has three permanent outlets.

Located on Chapel Street, Queen Vic Market and now Brunswick Street in Fitzroy, the classic burger joints offer the same four choices of burgers their food trucks have become famous for: Mr Burger, Mr Meat, Mr Hot and Mr Veg. But don’t mistake their modest menu for thriftiness. These burgers are so big that they’re a little hard to wrap your mouth around. To complete the experience, the menu also offers the burger’s favourite sidekick, fries, which come peppered in Mr Burger’s special seasoning.

While Mr Burger's fleet of food trucks are still operating in various locations around Melbourne, the Chapel Street spot offers a similar experience, but its liquor license allows for a selection of crisp beers and ciders to wash down the regular menu favourites. The Queen Vic Market and Brunswick Street locations are the most recent store additions as of 2014.

With a philosophy of burgers, chips, drinks and 'that's it', it goes to show that sometimes it’s best to keep things simple.
