Mister Zen is as soothing as its name implies. The cafe was designed, built and named by the 2015 teams on Channel 9’s The Block.

The kitchen works hard to match the quality of the menu to the interior’s attractive mix of cool concrete and natural timber. Dishes range from an acai bowl to pulled pork bao and Zenny Benny with apple-cider hollandaise and potato, parmesan and thyme stack.

Make yourself comfortable with a Code Black coffee and a pastry in the zen garden; or cosy up inside with a rug, a book and the sound of a humming cafe.
