Sydney's king of macarons has set up shop in South Yarra, giving Melburnians an opportunity to get their teeth into his imaginative sweet creations. Adriano Zumbo's modern, industrial-chic store, nestled alongside neighbours Mama Baba and Two Birds One Stone, is his first foray outside of Sydney.

You can find a rainbow of macarons, boasting flavours like 'caramel banana balsamic' and 'salted caramel on toast', along with Zumbo's signature Zonuts, inspired by the 'cronuts' from New York. The patisserie menu is also overwhelming - a plethora of gateaux and tarts are available to go with your coffee, including the V8 cake (as seen on Masterchef).

Aspiring pâtissiers can also grab one of Zumbo's baking kits, helping beginners attempt to recreate their very own Zumbarons and other sweet treats at home.
