Features
It’s hard to find a good bookstore anymore, let alone one that still has that nostalgic, old-book smell. Coventry is independently owned and manages to capture that timeless atmosphere.
The store is only small but every available space is packed with books; on wooden shelving and piled high on tables. Paired with soothing jazz music filtering through the speakers, it’s an unhurried place to browse.
Spanning fashion, design, travel, biographies and a good selection of fiction, there’s a separate room dedicated to children’s books at the back. Here, the walls are bright and colourful, encouraging kids to find their own adventures between the pages.
