Features
When Plump Organic owner Jock Campbell opened his organic grocery store in 2002, he was one of the pioneers who helped revitalise Yarraville Village.
Since then, his shop has cemented its place in the hearts of locals, who flock to this one-stop shop for the health and environmentally conscious consumer.
Good service, good produce and a good reputation are part of Plump’s winning formula. Boxes of colourful, fresh produce are lined up against one wall, sourced fresh from Footscray Market each morning by Campbell and his team.
The shelves in this small, calm oasis are bursting with oils, condiments, honey and herbs. The fridge and freezer section is well stocked with ice-cream, berries, butter, milk and yoghurt.
Environmentally friendly products include laundry powder, shampoo, conditioner and make-up.
Staff members make up blends of teas, including the popular cold-and-flu and lullaby concoctions, or cold-pressed fresh juices to order.
