InStitchu
Features
Step into InStitchu’s light-filled showroom and you’ll find a menswear formula that’s just right. There’s a welcome balance of quality, convenience and affordability.
Fresh out of uni and new to the world of suits and ties, owners James Wakefield and Robin McGowan needed a wardrobe overhaul. They learned that affordable tailored menswear was hard to come by. To help fellow time-poor, early-career guys, they launched InStitchu as an online store in 2012.
Showrooms have since been set up in their hometown of Sydney, plus Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland. Here, customers have the chance to speak with consultants, get measured up and choose from the hundreds of available fabrics. Each suit is made in China and takes about a month to make and be delivered.
The range doesn’t just stop at shirts and suits. InStitchu collaborates with local brands such as OTAA to bring pocket squares and ties in-store. Italian-made leather shoes, watches, cufflinks and grooming products from Melbourne’s Hunter Lab can also be purchased, making this a one-stop shop for completing a look.
