Found on Bay Street in Port Melbourne, Harry & Frankie is a beautiful wine bar and wine shop that encourages its patrons to drink better and to be more adventurous.

Co-owner Tom Hogan has more than 15 years of experience in the industry, the past three and a half of which were spent as the sommelier at The Lake House in Daylesford.

Empire Builders have joined forces with emerging designers Foolscap (Uncle, Shebeen, Candied Bakery, Patricia) to create a space that’s fresh, clean, and unpretentious with a cork ceiling design by Craig & Karl that demands a second (and third) look.

The unfussy atmosphere continues through to the wine selection which leans toward family-owned producers, many of whom Hogan has a personal relationship with.

Sit at the bar and sip ‘on tap’ Arfion pinot gris, nurse a glass of Gran Cru burgundy or peruse the wall of wine to choose one (or more) to go.

For food, graze on tapas, charcuterie, sliced-to-order salami and salumi, cheeses curated by Olivia Sutton (of Harper & Blohm Cheese Shop), Grand Cru toasties (roast lemon chicken breast with aioli, spinach, cheese and beetroot relish) and a nightly main.
