The Fat Butcher is a true paddock to plate butchery, run by local famers Daryl and Deb Hancock. It’s the bricks-and-mortar outlet for their Murphy’s Creek Farm, which produces grain-fed pork, merino lamb and the renowned Inglewood dry-aged beef. The shop also stocks meat and dairy products sourced from other farmers and producers in the local area.

You can find cuts from every beast under the sun, from pork chops and chicken wings, to succulent steaks. If you’re snagging something for the barbecue, browse the old-school sausage range. The lamb, feta and chive sausage is banging.

You can also pick up ready-made meals such as curries, plus a range of local small goods, sauces and bread. If you’re really serious about grilling, the Fat Butcher will tailor a meat pack for your next cook-out. Delivery is also available.
