All-day dining room, Niche on Bridge, was set by the Saade family (of the Toorak Deli and Phamish in St Kilda). It is a well orchestrated 250-seat operation situated at the bottom of an apartment block. Designed by IMA Architects (also in Richmond), the large space is bordered by glass walls and has a bar/private dining room that is sound-proofed for the customers in the dining room and the nearby residents.
Chef, Justin Beilin (previously head chef at Hairy Canary and Hairy Little Sister) has created a large menu with all-day breakfasts, a large mezze selection, starters, mains and a section dedicated to the wood-fired pizza oven. His focus is on sustainability in the broad sense of the word.
Niche on Bridge's focus is straightforward; a place where anyone can come anytime of the day for good quality food that doesn’t break the bank.
