Soul Kitchen’s wood-fired pizza truck is one of the more impressive additions to their customised fleet of trucks and vans, which serves food and coffee around the streets of Melbourne and a string of festivals. Along with his business partner Paul McCormack, Soul Kitchen founder Michael Ibrahim’s passion for customising vans and trucks was met with a serious challenge with the pizza truck.

The truck represents a diabolical feat of engineering and design – one that has seen a wood-fired oven that operates at over 400 degrees installed in the back of a moving vehicle. Using fresh produce and implementing Napolitana-style techniques, you will find gourmet pizzas for lunch and dinner in front of The Arts Centre from midday and you can expect to see the pizza truck popping more during summer festival season.
