Peaches is set to land in Thornbury early next year. It'll be a wine bar and "goth older sister" to north-side milk bar Skinnys.

With over two decades of hospo experience between them, owners Genevieve Bruwer and Jamal Nicoll have worked in almost every corner of the industry. Skinnys was the couple’s first solo venture, offering Aussie classics like chicken-salt hash browns and birthday-cake trifle with strawberry jelly.

Now, Peaches is expected to dim the lights and dial up the food offering with European small bites. It'll swap out old-school nostalgia for a little romance, but it's sure to retain Bruwer and Nicoll's distinct flair.

Peaches will open in early 2025, at 901 High Street Thornbury.
