*The Dining Haul is under new management. We will update this page shortly.

No stranger to the restaurant game, Dining Haul owner Charlie Sirianos – who opened slick city diner Syracuse years ago – joined forces with experienced seafood chef Alasdair Beattie – from FishWorks in London – to bring Elwood locals a casual dining experience.

Painted concrete floors, timbers and bar and table seating make for a relaxed atmosphere in a cool setting, where you can prop up at the bar with a beer and some crispy flathead fingers, or relax around a table with a cheeseburger and char-grilled fish and chips.

There’s a well-balanced mix of local and foreign wine, beers, ciders and a cocktail list that includes in-house creations such as the ‘Yeah Buoy!’ – with dark rum, honey vodka, pomegranate and ginger beer. The mostly-tapas-y sharing menu features dishes such as the taramasalata (fish roe) and roast tomato bruschetta on grilled ciabatta; steamed mussels; smoked trout, leek and dill croquettes; and a salmon saltimbocca with sage, prosciutto and pea mash.

The Dining Haul is open from 8am to late, six days a week (because on Monday the staff go fishing).
