Features
Chew Burgers was opened by three friends who wanted an affordable burger option in the neighbourhood. It’s the kind of place they want to eat at and it's right next to their favourite drinking spot, The Raccoon Club.
With a modest menu made up of three wagyu burgers, two vegetarian choices and one crispy-skin chicken burger, Chew Burgers aims to provide quality over quantity. It prides itself on being a big supporter of local business, using buns baked daily at Northcote Bakehouse, hot sauce and chilli salt by a one-man company in Wagga Wagga, pickles made in house, and meat sourced from the Otway Ranges.
Part-owner Andrew Chew, who also runs the No Vacancy Gallery at QV and Federation Square, also wants the eatery to host an artist series every two months.
