Cono Gelateria

Run by two brothers, Cono Gelateria takes a nostalgic approach to its rotating specials. Local fruits and produce grown in the area, as well as the neighbourhood’s diverse community, serve as the inspiration for many of its flavours.

Your scoops might take cues from the jam doughnuts at Preston Market, pay homage to the cannoli flavours served at a neighbouring Italian pasticceria, or use prickly pear grown locally in backyards and surrounding creek areas.

Go for staples like pistachio or cinnamon and fig, or try one of its inventive specials. That could be fior de latte gelato with sour cherries; rosewater and strawberry jam; carrot cake folded with cream cheese, cinnamon and ginger; or persimmon sorbet – all served behind a locally made custom pink terrazzo bench.
