The Smith's ambiguous title is appropriate for the feel of the space – it's a place for all people of all ages to gather.

With a bar and courtyard to the right and dining to the left, guests can feast on a varied menu of global flavours in small (katifi wrapped scallops, sticky pork belly) or large (barramundi, minute Wagyu steak and frites) sizes, all prepared with style and washed down with drinks from a thoughtful wine and cocktail list. Tables are round, square and communal, and are set with an assortment of mismatched dinnerware. The main dining area is a striking space with high ceilings and a full view of the kitchen.

Upstairs plays host to two function rooms, with separate bar and kitchen, aptly titled Mr Smith (leather banquettes and masculine features for up to 40 people sit-down) and Mrs Smith (stark white walls and crisp minimalism seating for 24). An adjoining wall that separates the spaces can also be opened to create a larger function area for bigger parties.
