Features
Vaughan’s Cafe Deli opened in September 2013, starting as a deli and a welcoming place to get a good cup of coffee, and progressing into a fully-fledged cafe. The deli cabinet and larder shelves are lined with both local and imported goods, from decadent cheeses (such as Berry Creek’s Tarwin Blue), antipasti and smoked meats, to pasta, salts, oils and preserves.
The cafe menu uses as much local produce as possible (including Inverloch free- range eggs), and features plenty of dairy-free, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Breakfast runs all day, so you can pair your avocado smash or acai bowl with a fresh juice or “superfood” smoothie even if enjoying a late lunch.
The wine list is exclusively local, showcasing Harman Wines from Wattle Bank, Dirty Three Wines from Leongatha South, Purple Hen Winery from Phillip Island and Bass River Winery from Glen Forbes.
