Best Food Truck Parks in Melbourne

A new wave of food trucks rolled into town around the start of the 2010s. Combining good food with attractive branding, the likes of Beatbox Kitchen, Taco Truck, Cornutopia and Mr Burger changed our idea of what a food truck could be.

These days there are hundreds of these mobile restaurants. They show up at the tennis, festivals, night markets and beside parks – basically anywhere outdoors and fun. And more recently, they’ve begun congregating at dedicated food truck parks, which typically centre around a permanent bar.

Mashing up the beer garden with the food court, these parks are a great option next time the weather’s nice and you’re looking to head out. The vibe’s always relaxed and everyone gets to eat and drink whatever they feel like. Just make sure you always leave someone at the table so your seats don’t get taken.

This westside food hub feels a lot like a food festival – except it's permanent. Visit for gelato bubble waffles, lobster rolls, crunchy That’s Amore cannoli, pierogi and more. Plus, it’s got three bars and a deck on the Yarra River with city views. Entry is $4 for adults and free for kids under 12.
