When it comes to fashion, Melbourne’s women definitely have it better. Local designers work with muted tones; colourful prints; intricate neck and hem details; and a near-infinite selection of cuts. It’s no surprise so many of our womenswear labels have gone on to make a name for themselves nationally and internationally.

We’re yet to see a mens-only label have the same impact. That's not to say local mens labels aren't on the same level. Mostly, it's about small but crucial adjustments to the classics: switching shirt-buttons for a zip, or taking a more tailored approach to casual wear.
