The Flinders Street restaurant is putting together a cocktail with Tanqueray gin, lemongrass, lemon, chilli and mango syrup, elderflower, mint leaves and cucumber for Word Class Cocktail Week. Pair it with a Tanqueray gin-compressed watermelon, mint and cucumber jelly and tonic sorbet. The pairing will be available for $25 all week.

If You Like Pina Colada at Good Heavens

Head upstairs from Fancy Hank’s to Good Heavens for a gin interpretation of the classic Pina Colada during World Class Cocktail Week. The bar will be mixing house-smoked and fermented pineapple wine with Tanqueray gin, orange apertif and coconut cream to create a Spritz/Pina Colada hybrid. Three twists of the Pina Colada will also be on the menu, featuring tequila, bourbon and Ron Zacapa 23 rum. Each cocktail will be $18–$24 and available all week.

Tiki Time at The Noble Experiment

Head to The Noble Experiment for a tiki-inspired cocktail embracing Australia’s native flora. The drink will feature Tanqueray gin, Bundaberg Small Batch rum and an assortment of Australian herbs, served with all the theatre the venue is known for. The 1920s styled venue will be offering the cocktail on all three levels, both on its own or paired with a dish from the modern-Australian menu. The Tiki Time will be available for $20 all week.

Sgroppino & Snacks at Fatto

This riverside Italian eatery is making a classic Venetian cocktail for World Class Cocktail Week. Traditionally a mix of lemon sorbet, vodka and prosecco, Fatto will be serving their own interpretation of the sgroppino using Tanqueray gin and basil, and topped with limoncello sorbet and prosecco. There will also be matched cicchetti on offer, made by hand in the kitchen. The cocktail will be $18 and available all week.

Hot Sauce World Class at Hot Sauce

Stroll down the laneway at QT Melbourne for a sweet and fruity gin cocktail paired with Japanese yakitori. The Japanese-Korean bar Hot Sauce will be embracing traditional Japanese flavours by pairing enoki mushroom yakitori with the Sayonara Nakatomi cocktail, made with Midori, Jinzu cherry blossom gin, white ale, aloe vera juice, yuzu and candied orange syrup. The pairing will be available for $25 all week.
