It’s been a long time in the making.

In June 2014, the secret got out – The Lucas Group (behind Chin Chin, Baby and Kong) had secured a spacious site on Chapel Street in Windsor. This was to be Hawker Hall – a hawker-style Asian restaurant and beer hall.

Since then, we’ve been following owner Chris Lucas and his team as the ambitious project comes together, from recipe testing to blind beer tasting.

Before the restaurant opens to the public, 80 Broadsheet readers will be some of the first to eat at Hawker Hall at a special preview dinner on Saturday November 14. All you have to do is enter here to win.

In the spirit of celebration, the food will be in the style of a ‘Hawker Feast’ (similar to Chin Chin’s Feed Me menu), where you’ll get an array of seven dishes for your table, matched with Hawker Hall’s own beer, SHIKI.

Tables are in groups of four – so if you win a place at the dinner, you can bring three friends with you.

Executive chef Benjamin Cooper and Hawker Hall’s head chef, Damian Snell, will be there to chat you through the food and menu. Dietary requirements can be catered for at the event.

Enter here to win a table for four at the Hawker Hall preview dinner on November 14.
