We already told you about the first Sensory Restaurant at next year’s Sugar Mountain – an immersive restaurant experiment between Bomba, design studio Tin&Ed and Cut Copy.

On top of that (which is on its way to selling out – so book your seats quick), the music and arts festival has just announced its food and beverage line-up – and its pretty extraordinary.

First up: Shane Delia’s upmarket kebab joint Biggie Smalls, which is slated to open on Smith Street in mid-December. This festival debut is your chance to decide which kebab rules: East Coast (fried shrimp with harissa, almond hummus, mint and pickled radish) or West Coast (slow-roasted pork belly with maple-syrup hummus, pickled cabbage, sweet onions, hot sauce and mint).

Vegetarians will do very well, with Transformer Fitzroy setting up a stall with clever, seasonal eats.

Parisian-inspired Chinatown eatery Belleville is on board, and Hanoi Hannah will bring its tried-and-tested express Vietnamese to the VCA festival grounds.

You can follow your nose to American barbeque house Meatmother for slow-roasted meats. Leonard’s House of Love is coming to the party, and Billy van Creamy will be on hand for a refreshing, gelato dessert. Also look for Everyday Coffee’s cart, serving up hot and cold brews.

As for drinks: Melbourne’s Sample Brew is building an On-Tap Brew Bar with Folk Architects, Carlton dive bar The Beaufort is joining forces with Jameson, and Fitzroy cocktail bar Black Pearl will team up with Absolut in VIP area, the Executive Sweet.
