Music and art festival Sugar Mountain has unveiled the details of its Sensory Restaurant – an avant-garde and experimental dining experience within the event.

The collaborators on this year’s Sensory Restaurant, will be S U R V I V E, the Texan synth quartet behind Netflix’s Stranger Things’ theme song; IDES chef Peter Gunn (ex-Attica sous chef); and New York-based artist Daniel Arsham, who blurs lines between art, architecture and performance.

Bookings are exclusively available to Sugar Mountain goers. The festival is on January 21, 2017 at Victorian College of the Arts at Southbank. Over multiple sittings, the hour-long experience will be a bizarre and surprising exploration of the relationship between the senses.

This will be the second year of Sensory; last year’s experience featured collaborations between Bomba’s Jesse Gerner, Cut Copy and design duo Tin & Ed.

Sugar Mountain has also just announced its full food line-up, which includes stalls from Kong BBQ, Mr. Miyagi, 8bit, Lazerpig, Pretty Mama and Pidapipo. There’ll also be drinks from Sample Brew, Industry Beans, and cocktails by The Beaufort’s Dave Kerr and his team.

This food announcement completes the already-released music and art line-up, which includes Blood Orange, Pantha du Prince, Moses Sumney, Weyes Blood and Big Scary.

Tickets to Sugar Mountain are on sale now. Tickets for Sensory are limited and are on sale from 8am Wednesday November 16 for $70 (food and drink inclusive).
