Revamp: The recent revamp of Circa, The Prince has seen a change of direction for the Melbourne dinning institution. With a new, more accessible approach evident in the previously under-utilised courtyard, diners can now relax surrounded by a hanging herb garden. For a casual bite, order from the bar menu and unwind at the communal table. The original restaurant has been reworked into private dining rooms opening onto the balcony, where fine dining and degustation options will be available.
What hasn’t changed is Chef Matt Wilkinson’s focus on the best produce available, from rare breeds and heirlooms, to produce grown in Circa’s kitchen garden.

Now Open: After much anticipation MoVida Aqui, the new arm of MoVida, opened its doors last week. Find it on level 1 of 500 Bourke Street, and look out for the addition of rice dishes (including paella) to chef Frank Camorra’s acclaimed Spanish repertoire. MoVida Aqui is larger than its brothers, the original MoVida and MoVida Next Door, and includes a lunch kiosk, Terraza, with outdoor seating. It’s a welcome addition to the MoVida family, and we can’t wait to try it out.
