Last weekend the newly launched hotel QT Melbourne opened its rooftop bar, which has views over the city. The split indoor-outdoor space on the 11th floor of the Russell Street hotel can hold 185 people.
QT’s in-house designer and stylist, Nic Graham, is behind its design. Outdoor furniture by Melbourne studio Tait is scattered throughout.
There are bar snacks available, such as a minced Thai beef on toast with chilli, sweet basil and sambal. Drinks include a summery Yarra Valley Sour made with Healesville’s Four Pillars Gin, fresh lemon, orange blossom and pinot noir – perfect to have in hand when watching the city go by from eleven floors up.
