So the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival has come to and end for 2011 and we're stuffed. We ate and drank very well across a bunch of different events from wine breakfasts to long lunches and decadent dinners with visits from international chefs, jelly mongers and TV cooks. And of course we sipped a lot of coffee at the Broadsheet Cafe.

With over 250 events to choose from, it's tough to decide which ones you'll make it too over the course of the 11 day celebration of food and wine in Melbourne. We had a busy week but managed to get behind the scenes at a few events, in the kitchen with chefs and sat up at the bar with some wine aficionados too. We even had our own wrap up dinner at the Cafe with Adrian Richardson from La Luna cooking a pig on the spit and plating up outside on Crossley Street. The whole week was quite a feast, it should keep us going until next year.

In the meantime, lick your lips and check out our Melbourne Food and Wine Festival gallery.
