The doors have finally opened to the long-awaited Gordon Ramsay maze and maze Grill in Melbourne. For all those hungry to try the infamous chef's food, it’s arrived on our doorstep and you can find it at the new Crown Metropol hotel.

The celebrity chef’s first Australian venture launched on Monday and whilst the man himself may not be in residence, he’s placed the new maze into capable hands. Josh Emett, Ramsay’s colleague of ten years, is Chef de Cuisine, while at front of house will be Enda Cunningham as GM with Victoria’s Randa Assi as Restaurant Director with Lincoln Riley as Head Sommelier.

Both maze and maze Grill are set to reflect their British counterparts, but the menus will be highlighting seasonal ingredients from throughout Australia.

With maze Grill promising all the thrill and flames of an open style kitchen, and maze appealing to a more sedate dining experience, they’ve got their bases covered.

We can’t wait to see if the much-anticipated food will outstrip the hype and reputation.
