The guys at St Ali are at it again. Not only are they hosting laneway parties, coffee-matching dinners and sprinkling themselves around town (think Outpost and Sensory Lab), now they are open for dinner four nights a week as well. Coffee isn’t just a morning thing after all.

As of this week, St Ali in Yarra Place, South Melbourne, will be keeping their doors open for dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.

On the menu will be Chef Ben Cooper’s modern South East Asian creations, inspired by his love of aromatics and spices. Think coconut- and belachan-marinated lamb rump, with a dry red chili and cashew sambal.

At this stage its straight dinner, but they’ll soon be matching food with coffee.
