We’ve sent you out on doughnut crawls to track down the best in town. And now, the doughgods have answered our sweet tooths’ prayers by bringing some of the best doughnuts together under one roof for one day.
“There will be every single, possible, imaginable type of doughnut,” says Flour Market coordinator, Sarah Booth. “Vendors are really excited to bring in some new flavours, so it will be interesting to see what they pull out of the hat. They are all very inventive.”
This Saturday will mark the first of Day of the Donut. With 4300 Facebookers already committed, the event will be a keeper.
“People are so excited about doughnuts all the time, but especially at the moment,” says Booth. “We wanted to give doughnuts their own day and bring all these phenomenal doughnuts makers – established, new and up-and-coming –together for some fun.”
Day of the Donut will start at 9am tomorrow and Booth recommends you, “Get in early, because as per Flour Market, it probably won’t last long.”
