This weekend, we’re celebrating the first day of summer with a great American barbeque. For the final event of our cookout series with Bulleit Bourbon and Fancy Hank’s, we’re hosting a party upstairs at The Mercat with music, a whole hog and plenty of free Bulleit Bourbon all afternoon.
As with our previous barbeques, Fancy Hank’s will be dedicating their massive cooker to just one type of meat - complete with sides and trimmings of course. At the first cookout at The Beaufort, their slow-cooked beef brisket sold out in under two hours. The second at Kodiak Club had people queue for ribs before they even opened. This time, we're armed with a whole hog and ready for the crowds. It’s a specialty dish Hank’s is doing just for us, just this Sunday (December 1) on his own home turf at The Mercat Cross Hotel.
The mighty barbequed hog will be ready to serve at 5pm on Sunday December 1, so skip lunch, bring your friends and come party with us on the first day of summer.
