Ever find yourself on Broadsheet researching what’s good to eat so you can make an order? Then working out how to make that happen?
We’ve teamed up with Deliveroo to make it easier. You can now order food to your home or office direct from Broadsheet, thanks to Deliveroo. The feature has been added to our directory, where we have more than 6000 businesses – and growing – listed. It’s your best source of information on food and drink in your city. Just look for the teal “order delivery” button on any directory-listing page, and Deliveroo will drop the food to your door in less than 30 minutes.
Participating restaurants include some of Melbourne’s best, such as Biggie Smalls and its Middle East-meets-New York kebabs. Favourites include the West Coast with roast lamb, roast onion gravy mayo, rosemary, garlic and mustard, and the C.Wallace with flaxseed felafel, cucumber, smoked hummus, lettuce and mint.
Also on board are fried-food favourites Juanita Peaches with classic meal deals that involve burgers, fries, a drink and a glazed donut. Or get a Southern-inspired feed from Le Bon Ton; think brisket sandwiches, chilli cheeseburgers and smoked meats. Japanese geniuses Neko Neko’s range of “super food” salads are available, as are dishes from Supernormal Canteen, including ramen, dumplings and vegetarian specials, like roasted wild mushrooms with seaweed, artichoke and noodles, or tare-roasted pumpkin with dashi cream, walnut and laver.
