This year’s Met Gala theme is “The Garden of Time”. Celebrities are gathering at The Metropolitan Museum of Art to raise money for the Costume Institute, where they’ll enjoy a dinner catered by Olivier Cheng. “We wanted to create a menu that felt a bit romantic and ethereal, yet focused on the best seasonal ingredients,” Cheng told Vogue. “Drawing on inspiration from the lush gardens and palaces of Sleeping Beauty’s fantasy world, we really aimed to build our own bite-sized fairytale,” he added.

We won’t get to eat like the stars, but here we have reimagined some of the gowns, beautiful gowns (and suits) as Melbourne restaurants.
