To celebrate the tennis arriving back in Melbourne, Mastercard and Broadsheet present Serve Festival: a two-week celebration of the finest food, drink and hospitality Melbourne has to offer. From January 14 to 28, Serve Festival is dishing up a range of exclusive culinary events with the city’s top chefs, venues and more – exclusively for Mastercard cardholders.

On Tuesday January 16, South Yarra’s Yugen Dining is throwing a one-night-only Japanese-inspired dinner as part of Serve Festival. Though all Serve Festival events are reserved exclusively for Mastercard cardholders, we’ve got a double pass for one lucky winner and a friend to dine in the opulent subterranean space with all the other guests.

Valued at $95 per person, the set menu includes an Ume Negroni as a welcome drink, before moving on to dishes such as hiramasa kingfish with spiced pineapple and aji amarillo dressing, wood-grilled duck leg, the signature XO fried rice and more – capped off with refreshing passionfruit mochi for dessert.

Never miss a Melbourne moment. Make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter today.

Other events at Serve Festival include dinners at modern Thai eatery BKK, Carlton wine bar Bar Bellamy and Flinders Lane favourite Supernormal, as well as special offers at 10 venues around the city – exclusively for Mastercard cardholders.

We’re also giving Mastercard cardholders a one-month free trial of Broadsheet Access, our membership program that lets you get tables at booked-out restaurants, try hot new venues before anyone else, score free tickets, shop discounts on our favourite labels and more.
