Win a Lamb Feast for You and Five Friends at Asado

The gesture often falls short in showing friends the gratitude you feel for all those late-night calls, that car borrow, plant sit or other above-and-beyond favour. To help you repay your mates, Asado is offering a one-off chef’s table experience. One lucky Broadsheet reader and five of their friends will receive a lamb-inspired dining experience, at the newly opened Spanish restaurant in Southbank on December 4.

The dinner will be held in a private dining room at Asado, where the Argentinian shared dining experience will be amplified by the head chef, Ollie Gould, chatting to the table about the meal – a rare opportunity to hear the story behind the feast.

Get the party started with sangria on arrival, then sip your way through Azul Malbec. Your main will be lamb cooked over six hours on a custom stainless-steel asado (Spanish for “roast”) fire pit, with acompanamientos of potatoes and salad. To finish, enjoy Argentinian alfajores cookies filled with sweet dulce de leche.
