Tour Melbourne’s best brunch spots every weekend for an entire year – on us.

At last – an ironclad reason to get out of bed on the weekend.

In partnership with Mr Yum, Broadsheet is offering one lucky reader the chance to win an entire year’s worth of brunches. And we’re not talking repeat visits to your local deli, either – the prize is offered in collaboration with 52 Melbourne venues, meaning the winners gets a year-long tour through the city’s best cafes and diners.

The unprecedented offer is thanks to the new digital service Mr Yum, which allows diners to view photos of dishes before they order. Founded in Melbourne by Kim Teo, Adrian Osman and Kerry Osborn, the platform is designed to give users a one-stop expanded insight into menus in real time.

No app is required to use the feature. Once in a cafe or restaurant, iPhone users can scan the menu’s unique QR code with their phone’s default camera app, while Android users can scan using Google Lens. Diners will then see expanded details of the dishes on their phone, featuring beautiful photos, ingredient definitions, dietary filtering and language translations.

Participating Mr Yum venues include popular north-side spots Proud Mary, Babajan and Faraday’s Cage; CBD venues Bowery to Williamsburg and Mercedes me; and south-side stars St Ali, Grand Lafayette and Matcha Mylkbar. Further afield there’s the likes of Baba Sus in Glen Iris, Three Monkeys Place in Doncaster East, Tonic & Grace in Malvern, and Serotonin Eatery in Burnley.

Enter your details for the chance to win.
