• The Rum Diary team’s new bar, Beneath Driver Lane, brings 160 whiskies and more than 70 rums to a low-lit, cavernous space in the CBD.
• After a yearlong closure due to a relocation, René Redzepi’s acclaimed Danish fine diner, Noma, will begin taking reservations again next week.
• Cult Sydney Thai street-food restaurant Dodee Paidang has opened a Melbourne outpost.
• Melbourne cafes Lights in the Attic and The Crux & Co. are giving away free coffee this week to anyone who brings a reusable cup.
