Have you ever eaten queso before? It’s a Tex-Mex melted cheese dip with tomatoes and jalapenos served with tortilla chips. It’s gooey, cheesy, delicious and one of the items on Red River BBQ’s new Shortorder Menu, on offer every Wednesday night at the Workers Club in Fitzroy.
Red River BBQ’s slow-smoked brisket and pulled pork have been a hit wherever the boys, Pat and Nick, serve up their hearty Texas-style food. Luckily for us, they have teamed up with honorary Texan, blogger Burger Mary, and put down roots at The Workers Club.
As of tonight, pulled pork or sliced brisket sandwiches served with potato chips and a pickled jalapeno will be available each Wednesday. And if you’re not up for a sandwich, try the chicken wings with one of three barbecue sauces.
