Two chefs. 88 storeys. 1642 stairs. It’s as if Survivor and MasterChef had a child.
On Wednesday October 18 Attica’s Ben Shewry and Vue De Monde’s Shannon Bennett will race to the top of the Eureka Tower for the launch of the annual Eureka Climb charity run.
Whoever makes it to the restaurant on the 89th floor first, wins.
The Eureka Climb, now in its tenth year, raises money for charities Interplast and Whitelion. This year’s climb takes place on Sunday November 19 and is open to anyone aged 12 and above. It’s one of the highest vertical races in the world, with participants running – or walking – up 1642 stairs to the tower’s level 88 Skydeck.
The Eureka Climb at Eureka Tower in Southbank begins at 7am with staggered start times available throughout the day.
