Hosted by Australian sherry master Scott Wasley and his team of specialist importers, Spanish Acquisition will be bringing the very best of Andalusian love to Pope Joan. Inspired by the bars of Andalucia, pop-up bar Gazpacho y Más will take over the Brunswick cafe each Sunday in February between 4pm and 8pm.

With a menu del dia at $45 a head for seven courses, you can explore the beating heart of southern Spain in Melbourne’s inner north. Expect the very best sherry, cold beers, rosado and even some sherry-inspired cocktails. If you can only pop in for a quick hola and copita of fino, all menu items are available by the piece.
