It’s been a rough road for Nick and Nora’s, the art deco-themed cocktail bar from The Speakeasy Group (Mjolner, Eau de Vie, Boilermaker House) at 80 Collins Street. It was only open for three days before Melbourne went back into stage-three lockdown.
But now that restrictions are well and truly easing, it’s hell-bent on making up for lost time.
As soon as hospitality venues are allowed to reopen – at 11.59pm on October 27 – Nick and Nora’s is opening its doors once again and toasting the end of lockdown with plenty of fancy booze.
The maximum number of permitted guests will be greeted with cocktails and a bottle of champagne on arrival, drinking up the venue’s opulent interiors for just 61 minutes (from 11.59pm to 1am).
Bookings are now open. Tickets cost $65 per person and are available online.
