For two weeks in March Gourmet Cinema returns to Caulfield Racecourse to pair some of Melbourne’s favourite restaurants with 13 outdoor films.

Feast on Indian food by Horn Please during the screening of Slumdog Millionaire, or eat tacos by Fonda during Frida. Baby Pizza will accompany Eat, Pray, Love, and there’ll be seafood from the Fish & Chippery by The Atlantic at the screening of Finding Dory.

Pair French dishes by L’Hotel Gitan with Amelie and enjoy Japanese food from Tokyo Tina while watching Lost in Translation. The Pimm’s Garden Bar, which will be open every night, will lead the line-up for Cocktail.

You can also order from Meatmaiden, Saigon Sally and Kong.

Deliveroo will deliver meals to your picnic rug, so you don’t miss any of the film.

Matinee sessions (opening weekend, March 4–5) for family-friendly films Happy Feet and Finding Dory begin a 2pm. Gates open one hour earlier.

Gourmet Cinema runs from March 2 to 12 at Caulfield Racecourse. Gates open at 6pm and films begin at 8pm.
