Recently Broadsheet teamed up with Peter Gunn, chef and owner of Ides, to host The Family Table – a five-course dinner inspired by the chef’s own family gatherings.

The feast was held in the curated Weylandts furniture store in Abbotsford, and featured dishes which threw back to Gunn’s youth, each paired with a matching Brown Brothers Patricia wine.

Guests were treated to Ides’s house-made peanut butter on sesame sourdough; beetroot, horseradish and smoked herring; Barramundi with black garlic and sweet corn and lamb neck wrapped in parsley for mains; and a dessert of strawberries and elderflowers.

Each dish was paired with one of the five wines from the Brown Brothers Patricia collection, named after the Brown family’s matriarch, Patricia Brown.
