The World’s 50 Best Restaurants is coming to Melbourne in April. It’s the most anticipated and powerful restaurant ranking in the world and will bring with it some of the biggest names in food, including chefs, writers and restaurateurs.

As part of the awards, four of the world’s top chefs will appear at a live event called #50BestTalks, where they’ll talk shop and inspiration. The line-up includes Daniel Humm and Will Guidara (restaurateur) from Eleven Madison Park in New York (currently the world’s third-best restaurant); Jordi Roca from El Celler de Can Roca in Spain (the best restaurant in the world in 2015 and the winner of world’s best pastry chef in 2014); Gaggan Anand from Gaggan in Bangkok (Asia’s number-one restaurant) and Grant Achatz from Alinea in Chicago (currently the world’s number-15 restaurant).

Commentator, journalist and ABC presenter Annabel Crabb will host the event.

VIP tickets include a post-event meet-and-greet and canapes. #50BestTalks will take place at Margaret Court Arena on April 3.

Tickets on sale now and start at $30. VIP tickets cost $99.
