• Madeleine De Proust and South Yarra’s Asian smokehouse Yan are joining forces for a lunch and dinner menu to celebrate Qixi Festival (also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day) on Friday August 29.
• Oakleigh Greek patisserie and restaurant Vanilla Lounge just opened Vanilla Dessert Bar. The self-serve spot on Eaton Mall lets you create your own dessert by combining everything from cinnamon doughnuts, bubblegum soft serve and croissant pieces with toppings such as vanilla custard, melted chocolate and potato chips.
