• Karen Martini and her partner Michael Sapountsis will take over Bar Carolina , Joe Mammone’s Italian restaurant in South Yarra. Mammone revealed the plans in an Instagram post last week, announcing he was stepping away for personal reasons.

• Hot-Listed Entrecote has brought back its breakfast menu. Three-egg omelettes with soft herbs and gruyere, minute steaks and more are available daily from 8am to 11am.

• Andrew McConnell’s Hot-Listed Flinders Lane restaurant Supernormal is serving a special dumpling menu – including Moreton Bay bug wontons and fried duck egg custard buns – until Sunday October 12.
