Deliveroo Launches Alcohol-Only Home Delivery in Melbourne

We're the only Australian city so far to get the service, but the company says other cities will soon follow.

Beginning today, Deliveroo will deliver alcohol in 30 minutes or less, Monday through Sunday, between 12pm and 11pm.

The new alcohol-only service in Melbourne is the first for Deliveroo in Australia, though the company says other cities will come next.

You can now have wine, beer and spirits delivered to your home from Blackhearts & Sparrows, the Grosvenor Hotel, Melbourne Wine Store, Fitzroy Social, The Shaw Davey Slum and more. The limit per order is one case (24 x 375ml containers) of beer and/or premixed spirits and/or six bottles of wine and/or 1 bottle of spirits (750ml).
