For the rest of May and all through June, Abbotsford’s new Lulie Street Tavern will host Cluster Truck, a collection of food trucks every Friday and Saturday night.

“The colder months can get a little boring,” says Georgia Sheil, spokesperson for the new event. “So we wanted to create something that would help the food trucks while also creating a nice little local bustling hub.”

When Sheil talks of helping the trucks, she’s referring to the fact that City of Yarra does not allow them to operate on public roads in the area. Because the space they’re parking on is private, the event can give them a temporary home.

The line-up for the rest of May is grill-focused, with Senor BBQ, the crew from Digging for Fire offering burgers and the Snag Society sizzling sausages. Match your dinner with craft brews and whisky from Lulie St and you’ve got yet another solid option in this rapidly-emerging part of town.
